William Adams

Born in 1947, William “Bill” Adams grew up on Fort Street in Marietta, Georgia. He attended Lemon Street Elementary School and Lemon Street High School before graduating in 1965 and starting his studies at Paine College in Augusta, Georgia. Drafted into the military a year later, Adams completed his bachelor’s degree and earned a master’s degree while serving in the Air Force. After his discharge in 1990, Adams worked in human resources for the State of Virginia, Tidewater Community College, and the City of Hampton. He lives in Yorktown, Virginia, today.
