    Description
This manuscript leaf is an excerpt from a Latin Vulgate Bible. This handwritten leaf is from the Book of Jeremiah and includes chapters 27-28 and the first part of chapter 29. This text is written on calf-skin parchment. There are illuminated letters at the top of the page and rubrication (red marks and lines) throughout the passage. These rubricated marks draw the reader's attention to a new section of text, such as a new verse. The leaf has interesting characteristics that demonstrate use, including marginalia (writing in the margins) and a small repair in the right-hand margin.
