| dc.description | One of Dr. Betty Siegel's first accomplishments as president of Kennesaw College was the establishment of the "View of the Future Committee." This committee was an ad hoc committee involving all faculty members at Kennesaw College. The goal of the committee was to conduct an assessment of the college climate and to determine its future direction. Initial topics included the quality of professional life at Kennesaw, personalized teaching and learning processes, serving the public, and mission. Dr. Siegel appointed Dr. Helen Ridley to head the committee. The View of the Future Committee laid the foundation for Kennesaw's development and growth during the 1980s. | en_US |
