Description
During the earliest years of Kennesaw Junior College's existence, the African American population at the school totaled less than one percent. By 1974, however, the college had formed an active Black Student Alliance that sponsored events and programs promoting African American history and culture. This letter written to Deane Bonner from Diane E. Hamilton - faculty advisor of the Black Student Alliance - thanks Ms. Bonner for participating in "Black Awareness Week" at the college in 1976.
