Born to Doyal Hudson Hill and Elnora Williams Hill in 1958, Clarence Eugene Hill II was named for his paternal grandfather, Clarence Eugene Hill, a longtime barber whose shop stood on Taylor Court in Acworth. Hill attended Acworth’s segregated Roberts School until the early years of integration, when he transferred to Acworth Elementary. After graduating from North Cobb High School, Hill attended North Metro Technical College (now Chattahoochee Technical College) and took a long-term position at Lockheed-Martin Company in Marietta. Today, Hill lives in Fairburn, Georgia, and has seven children, Clarence Eugene III, Brian, Joshua, Darius, Christopher, Shakeela, and Tabitha.
