Description
Linda Bass was born in Alabama and moved to Carrollton, Georgia at the age of four. She graduated with a degree in French from the University of West Georgia, and at the age of twenty, Bass moved to Adairsville, where she taught French and English for thirty years before retiring. In her interview, Bass recalls her childhood in Carrollton, education, and time as a teacher at Adairsville High School, including its integration and architecture. She also describes the history of the Sans Souci Women’s Club, and the contributions the club has made to the community of Adairsville.
