Description
Born in 1947, Norman Penfield grew up in Adairsville, Georgia. His father, Bill Penfield, owned a chenille company and served as mayor in the 1960s. Norman currently lives in Holly Springs, Georgia. In his interview, he discusses his childhood and teenage years in the community, his reasons for moving away, and his father’s effort to save the historic train depot.
