dc.descriptionTrent Turk was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia moving around the state until they settled in Sandersville, Georgia. Turk attended school there and upon graduating highschool attended Middle Georgia College in an associate Civil Engineering Technology program. Mr. Turk transferred to Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) following the completion of his associate program. He worked full time while attending SPSU and graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology with a land surveying focus in 1986. Mr. Turk worked for various surveying companies before founding his own, GeoSurvey, Ltd. in 1996. Trent Turk served as a trustee on both the Souther Polytechnic University Foundation and the Kennesaw State University Foundation. Turk served on the trustee during the time of the consolidation of the two universities.
