dc.descriptionDavid E. Miller, Sr. was born August 7, 1923 in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended and finished Marietta High School in 1940 with a scientific degree upon completing Miller attended North Georgia College for a year before transferring to Auburn. Miller worked as an engineer for the Army Corp of Engineers and worked at the Bell Aircraft plant during World War II. This oral history covers topics such as politics of Cobb County, the establishment of the Bell Bomber Plant, and his work on Rickenbacker Field and the Bell plant.
