dc.descriptionThe 2018 Women's History Month finale panel was sponsored by the Rich Foundation and the KSU Department of English. It featured a keynote by June Wilson Davis, one the first Freedom Riders and a leader in the Atlanta Student Movement (1960-1961). The panel also featured Professor Tony Grooms, who read from his novels Bomingham and The Vain Conversation; Dr. Regina Bradley, who discussed her experiences with race in Albany, GA; and Dr. Sheila Smith McKoy, who discussed her mother's role in North Carolina's integration movement. The event was coordinated by Dr. Jeanne Law Bohannon and student-scholars enrolled in her WRIT 3150 course.
