| dc.description | Norma June Wilson Davis was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and she graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia in 1961. In this interview, she discusses her role in the Atlanta Student Movement, including helping to plan sit-ins and protests, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s involvement, and being arrested and sentenced to work camp. Davis also discusses her life after college, working for the University of Iowa, and sharing her legacy of activism with her family. | |
