Description
Sarah Stephens was born Sarah Howard, in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended David T. Howard High School with Dr. Lonnie King, and she attended Savannah State and Woodrow Wilson Law School. In this interview, she discusses her role in the Atlanta Student Movement, including marching outside Rich’s Department Store to protest segregation, and her trailblazing career at General Services Administration (GSA) and the Federal Citizen Information Center (FCIC).
