dc.descriptionNita A. Paris is a professor of educational psychology (applied cognition and development). She played a major role in developing Kennesaw’s first doctoral program, the Doctor of Education (EdD). She was the 2016 recipient of KSU’s Outstanding Teaching Award. Her teaching and research focus on adolescent development, metaphors of teaching, and metaphors of leadership of practicing educators.en_US
