Dr. Ana-Maria Croicu was the 2015 recipient of the KSU Foundation Distinguished Teaching Award. A native of Romania, she received a PhD in pure mathematics in 2001 from the Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca. In 2005 she was awarded a second PhD in applied mathematics from Florida State University. Since 2006 she has taught mathematics at Kennesaw State University. She is also program director of a STEM scholarship program funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
