dc.descriptionA 6th generation Cobb Countian and a graduate of Kennesaw College in 1984, Stephen A. Prather has had a successful business career and a distinguished record of public service. Since the turn of the century he has served with the mayor of Acworth as co-chair of the Acworth Lake Authority. From 2004 to 2006 he was president of the KSU Alumni Association and served on the presidential search committee in 2005-2006 that recommended Dan Papp as Kennesaw’s 3rd president.en_US
