    Description
    This item is part three of the Oscar Freeman Scrapbook. This scrapbook documents the history of the NAACP Cobb County during the presidency of Oscar Freeman. Freeman served as president of the NAACP Cobb County Branch from 1982 until 1986. The scrapbook contains photographs, newspaper clippings, correspondence, handwritten notes and memos, etc. These materials provide a rich and unique look into the civil rights issues that African Americans faced in Cobb County during the 1980s.
