    Description
    Sound recording digitized from audiocassette of speakers during Dinkler Plaza Hotel luncheon in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 12, 1966. The recording features Whitney M. Young, Jr., the Executive Director of the National Urban League and Michael Mescon, Professor and Southern Bell Chair for Private Enterprise at Georgia State College. Opening remarks are by Richard Horsey from the Atlanta Coca-Cola Company. The event was emceed by Hugh L. Gordon. The original sound recording was done on reel-to-reel tape under the direction of Richard Horsey. Hugh Gordon obtained a copy from the sound engineer. The recording was later transferred to audiocassette. It was digitized in 2009.
