Sound recording digitized from an audiocassette of a telephone interview between Sue Dominy and Hugh L. Gordon. Sue worked in the employment office at Lockheed-Georgia and discusses hiring practices for African Americans in the 1960s. Interview ends in mid-sentence.; Sue Dominy was born on April 7, 1924, to Steve and Hattie Adams Dominy in Dublin, Georgia. She was one of 15 children. Dominy graduated from Georgia State University and joined the employment office of the Lockheed plant in Marietta, Georgia in 1957. She was a member of several professional and cultural organizations, including the Lockheed Management Club, as well as the Milledgeville First United Church. Sue Dominy died on January 13, 2016.
