Kathleen A. Hall was a faculty member at Southern Polytechnic State University from 1973 until her retirement in 2002. She was the first woman to hold a tenure-track professorship in math and for about two decades was the only female instructor in the Math Department. Dr. Hall has been instrumental in establishing a number of scholarships to honor the memories of former colleagues. In the interview, Dr. Hall explains why she was so strongly opposed to the consolidation of Southern Polytechnic State University with Kennesaw State University.
