Cassie Wingo Chastain resided in Cobb County, Georgia, for 99 years and at the same location since 1910. She lived on a farm on Greers Chapel Road within two miles of Kennesaw State University, Two interviews were conducted with Mrs. Chastain. During the first she recounted her experiences with Dr. Eugene R. Huck and Dr. Tom Scott. In the second interview, Dr. Scott talked with Mrs. Chastain and her daughter, Katherine Baird. The two interviews have been combined.
The bound volume includes one photocopy and four photographic reproductions of original black and white photographs belonging to Cassie Wingo Chastain that illustrate her experiences.
