Description
Dr. Barbara J. Blake is the recipient of the 2012 KSU Foundation Distinguished Professor Award and the 2015 Outstanding Professional Service Award. One of her papers was recognized as the 2007 clinical article of the year by the Journal of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care, and in 2014 she received the national Distinguished Service Award from the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care. A KSU professor since 2003, she frequently takes nursing students on study abroad trips to Swaziland and Nicaragua. She is the author or co-author of a number of articles on HIV and AIDS related topics.
