Oral history with Lance E. Burchett, carried out over two separate days, January 7th and February 27th
Description
Lance Burchett grew up in Little Rock and Fayetteville, Arkansas and in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. His father, Ron Burchett, worked in accounting with Phillips 66 and his mother, Sandy Curtis Burchett, worked as a hairdresser. Burchett would go on to recieve his undergraduate and graduate degree from the Univetsity of Arkansas. Following graduation he went on to work at J.B. Hunt Transportation until getting a position at the Arkansas Alumni Association. Lance eventually moved to work at San Diego State University for two years before being recruited to Northwest Missouri State University. Afterwards, he word work Ringling College of Art and Design and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences before finally arriving at Kennesaw State University as Vice President for University Advancement and CEO of the Kennesaw State University Foundation.
