Description
Harrison O. Long is a native of Cobb County, Georgia. He earned an MFA degree from the Meadows School of Arts at Southern Methodist University. Before receiving his degree, Long had begun a professional acting career. He taught at several colleges before joining the faculty of Kennesaw State University to teach and to develop the acting program. During his time at KSU, Dr. Long has served in a number of positions, including Coordinator of Acting, Interim Director of the School of Art and Design, and Interim Dean of the College of the Arts. He is the recipient of the 2014 KSU Foundation Distinguished Professor Award.
