He describes the hands-on skills that students acquire in the MET machine shop, including welding, machine work, and cutting principles. He also describes how SPSU’s competition teams such as Formula SAE and the aerial robotics team provide applied learning opportunities, as well as how these applied learning experiences benefit students in the job market.
