This collection contains digital copies of yearbooks published by the Confederate Soldier's Home of Georgia during the 1920s. The Confederate Soldier's Home was established in Atlanta around the end of the nineteenth century. The home was built as an expression of gratitude to veterans of the Confederate Army during the Civil War (1861-1865). The original home was destroyed by fire in 1901, but the home was rebuilt at the same location due to the generosity of various individuals and organizations. The yearbooks in this collection contain photos of the home site and its residents in addition to a variety of advertisements from supporting organizations. Physical copies of these yearbooks (both original and facsimile) are housed in the KSU Archives.
