The Southern Graphics Council International (SGC International) is a non-profit organization whose goal is to educate its members and the general public about issues surrounding original prints, drawing and book arts, and the practice of handmade papermaking. The SGCI was founded in 1973 by Boyd Saunders - an artist and printmaker from the University of South Carolina. The archives of the Southern Graphics Council International include artist files, annual conference materials, correspondence, paraphernalia, newsletters, catalogs, newspaper clippings, photographic prints, and many other records that document the history of this organization. Select items have been chosen for digitization and are available via this repository. The full collection is available at the Kennesaw State University Archives.
