Oral history interview with Jessica Duvall, KSU's Assistant Director of Strategic Planning, Assessment and Analysis.
Jessica Duvall attended Kennesaw State University. She served as the inaugural full-time staff member of the LGBTQ Resource Center. In 2019 her role within Cultural and Community Centers transitioned to Assistant Director of Assessment, where she now works, alongside being a part-time instructor for American Studies. In this interview Duvall discusses her time as a student at KSU, namely her involvement in KPA (Kennesaw Pride Alliance), her role in submitting a proposal for a professionally staffed GLBTIQ resource center to the Chief Diversity Officer, where she later worked as the program coordinator. Duvall talks about her role in her position and various programs, initiatives, and community groups created and developed during her tenure.

Jessica Duvall attended Kennesaw State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and a Master of Arts in American Studies. She has served as KSU's Assistant Director of LGBTQ Student Programs and later as Assistant Director of Cultural and Community Centers. In these excerpts from a 2014, interview, Duvall discusses KSU's GLBTIQ Center (later the LGBTQ Student Center) and LGBTQ rights including marriage equality.

Oral history interview with Jon C. Greaves, Atlanta and Cobb County resident, LGBT rights activist, and community organizer.
Jon Charles Greaves, Jr. was born in 1957 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He graduated from Wabash College where he majored in philosophy with a concentration in psychology. Afterwards he worked in the retail industry and later was employed by PacTel Cellular. Greaves moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 1983 where he began to get involved in LGBT organizations such as Friends Atlanta, as well as local Gay Pride events. Greaves has been involved in various community organizations since his teens, and as an adult has engaged in activism relating to civil rights, marriage equality, and local politics. He has served on the Lesbian and Gay Rights Chapter of the ACLU of Georgia and the Atlanta City Council's Lesbian/Gay Public Safety Task Force of the Public Safety Committee. He also set up and maintained the Georgia Anti-Violence Program hotline to collect instances of hate crimes committed against people in the LGBT community. In this interview, Greaves discusses his relationship with David Greer, co-parenting Greer’s nephew Cody, his relationship with Gary Thacker and Thacker’s suicide. Greaves also displays his collection of buttons documenting his participation in various organizations and events.
