Description
The 2017 Women's History Month finale panel was sponsored by KSU's Department of English and the Office of the President. The panel featured alumni from the Atlanta Student Movement, including Dr. Lonnie King, Mr. Charles Black, Dr. Gwendolyn Middlebrooks, and Dr. Roslyn Pope. Dr. Sheila Smith McKoy, Chair of the Department of English, also delivered an invocation. KSU President Sam Olens also delivered remarks at the event, which was the first Atlanta Student Movement event to be held at KSU. The event was developed and coordinated by Dr. Jeanne Law Bohannon and student-scholars enrolled in her WRIT 3150 course.
