This letter was written to Mary Warren on July 10, 1920. In the letter, the writer provides updates regarding family members, work, visits to St. Simons Island and other travels, and the exchange of goods. This letter is written on letterhead from the Confederate Soldiers Home of Georgia. Robert deTreville Lawrence was the president of the Confederate Soldier's Home during the early twentieth century. He is most likely the author of this letter, and his daughter-in-law, Mary Warren Laverty Lawrence, was most likely the recipient.
